The New Year brings with it an opportunity to make a new start. Most of us do that through resolutions, promises to ourselves, adjusting or adding goals, and contemplating what our wants and desires are. Instead of coming up with your resolutions the way you have each year (sometimes haphazardly) I have a new approach for you to try. A great place to start this process is by writing a love letter to you. This way you start with self-compassion and love as the foundation in which to develop your wants, desires and goals for the New Year. Write it down. This way you can always pull out the love letter when you are not doing those things you promised yourself going into the New Year. It is through self-love that you will be able to challenge yourself to new heights in 2014.
